Nurture Your Workplace Culture
Respect at Work provides empowering training programs for psychologically safe, productive, and respectful workplace cultures.
We spend so much time at work and we rarely get to choose our workmates.
Working alongside someone doesn't guarantee that we will like them BUT we do have to respect them. We have the right to safe, productive and respectful workplace cultures where we can just get on with the job. This should be easy, but people don't always know what is 'Ok' behaviour at work.
Great Cultures Foster Great Work
Are you aware of your workplace culture? Are you designing the culture you want or simply accepting the default and expecting your culture to manage itself?
Respect at Work training sessions will unpack workplace culture, workplace communication, diversity and inclusion, and the connection of these to your workplace policies and to legislation.
Respect at Work will work with your teams to identify both appropriate and inappropriate workplace behaviours and the impact of each to your workplace culture.
Respect at Work assists participants to:
Understand respect and respectful communication,
Discuss and understand diversity, inclusion and unconscious bias,
Discuss what may be inappropriate, disrespectful and/or bullying behaviour,
Develop bystander strategies,
Understand their rights and responsibilities under workplace policies and legislation,
Manage relationship and communication conflict in the workplace.
“Respect is like air. As long as it's present, nobody thinks about it. But if you take it away, it's all that people can think about...”
